My garbage collection bag is still small, but I figured I had to upgrade from "pockets." So I have a shopping bag (which I'd saved to reuse).

I don't have the option to participate in a poll, so I'll answer here.

If you see your mailbox is full, you don't say, "I'm going to go check the mailbox for mail that belongs to other people." You say "I'm going to go check MY MAIL." It's also your trash. Makes you want to cancel all those subscriptions, eh?

I'm doing a lousy job of keeping my perishables and non-perishables seperate. I'll try harder tonight. Might even go seperate my trash.

So I guess you won't be eating Pudding Pops for 40 days...

I think what you are doing for lent is amazing...I think if someone sends you mail that can't be recycled is technically in you possession even though it isn't your fault they sent it. So while it technically is yours I don't think you should have to carry it around because that would get pretty heavy pretty fast, but try to make use of it before throwing it away, for example you could use it as scratch-paper instead of getting out new paper.
