Dear Mr. Spellchecker,
Gibbs talking about being threatened by an ex-wife with cast iron is a smidge different than being threatened with castration. The latter probably would have made him a bit more upset. Quit trying to change it in my story.

It's like when I used to rpg and there was a character named Kenadie. Every time I typed the name, the Spellchecker would politely ask if I meant 'gonads'. That always amused me. :-)

How did it get gonads from Kenadie? Sometimes spell checkers amaze me.
Usually, when I am spelling something wrong it can't come up with anything close to the word I meant to spell. *sigh*

Maybe the 'nad' part? Who knows? I think they panic when they don't know what the word is and just throw something random at you. In Firefox, it wonders if I mean Grenadier, which...is sort of closer? Maybe? If you squint?

I know! That old elementary school trick of sounding it out doesn't work with Spellcheckers. I also find it amusing that Spellchecker is not in the spellchecker. :-)

All this talk of cast iron, gonads and castration is rather worrying in a way...

I only realized I *could* customize it a bit ago. So I added fandom and fandoms and a few others, but I'm afraid to add too many things and risk getting it confused that way. I dislike the red squiggly line. And the green one when it thinks your grammar is wrong.
