Fortune Cookie

We went out for Chinese food tonight. The fortune read:

Promote literacy. Buy a box of fortune cookies.

I feel vaguely cheated.

It was just so wrong... it wasn't cryptic or silly and there were no lucky number or anything *laughs*

And in the realm of "to much torchwood" I was thinking of Ianto getting that fortune with the lunch. Because, of course, he knows everything (because he reads).

The cookies were good at least! Actually, the food was great. We had planned on going to Olive Garden (daughter's favorite restaurant) but it was packed so we went to this little local Chinese food place on a whim instead. Very glad we did. Nothing against the big chains, but mom and pop places are always so nice.

LOL! I got one one time that was "Buy the red car". I always felt cheated by that one. It wasn't so much a fortune as a command.
