Coming over from tumbler_refuge and would love to add you! I see you're in Moscow ID. When I was a senior in high school, our jazz band got to play at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival and I had the best time.

oh neat! the jazz festival is such a huge deal here.

I came out here to do an MFA in creative writing, then stuck around a couple of years working in university administration. In about two weeks, though, I am packing everything up and moving to Taiwan! so no more Moscow.

I have loved it here, though. It's absolutely beautiful, and kind of the perfect size town, and I am a bit sad to be leaving. But on to new things!
