Nico had only realized he was free to leave his room again early in the morning when Mrs. O'Leary had drug him along in the shadows to find herself a decent breakfast. After returning to the dorms, it hadn't taken long for Nico to realize he should probably check in on a few people, and Jason topped his list.

Appearing in the shadows of the room, Nico suddenly wondered if he shouldn't have knocked first. Too late now. "Oh, you're still sleeping."

Jason had been resting with his eyes closed, but he hadn't quite fallen back asleep, and the sound of Nico's voice startled him into being fully awake. "Huh?" he said, sitting up a little.

Hmm. It seemed there was the option to flee quickly or the option to stay and watch Jason make cute surprised faces as he woke up. Nico hoped his choice was welcome as he moved in to perch on the edge of Jason's bed. "I didn't mean to wake you up. You can keep sleeping," he told the boy.

"What, and you'll just sit there?" Jason said, teasing because Nico wasn't that much of a creeper, was he? "It's okay, I was kind of up already." He shifted a little so Nico had more room to sit. "Did I leave the door unlocked?"
