NEW YORK and AUSTIN, TEXAS, September 2010 - Wizard World Austin Comic Con, part of North America’s largest pop-culture tour, is set for Friday through Sunday, November 12-14, at the Austin Convention Center. The event will bring together thousands of fans of all ages and plenty of celebrities and industry professionals to celebrate the best in pop culture, movies, comics, toys, video gaming, television, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more.
Among the stars scheduled to attend are Emmy Award nominees Billy Dee Williams (STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK; BATMAN, BRIAN'S SONG) and Mimi Rogers (AUSTIN POWERS, “The X-Files”), Claudia Christian (“Look,” “Babylon 5”) and three who have portrayed beloved characters in “Buffy: The Vampire Slayer”: James Marsters, Nicholas Brendon and Clare Kramer.

Special events at Austin Comic Con include the “Magic: The Gathering” card game tournament, professional photo opportunities (Photo Ops) with celebrities and others to be announced.
