I really like the sound of this one - have just discovered steampunk and enjoying the genre.

I'll have to add to my wish list :)

Thanks, Anne. I think this is more steampunk-ish than actual steampunk since I messed with so much more than just the technological timeline, but hopefully you'll enjoy it anyway.

Wonderful! (Not that I doubted for a minute it wouldn't be...) I'll have to save for this one... It's a must have!
Thanks!

Dreamspinner is having a 20% off sale all week. That makes it a little less to save up.

Haha, true dat on Jules Verne! I had a similar realization on steampunk, where I went from thinking Well, *I*'m not into anime and manga, I must not like steampunk. And then I started squinting at stuff I already was a fan of, like Verne, and then I started thinking about all the little steampunk flirts all over the place, like Sleepy Hollow or Hellboy.

Steampunk gay romance. I like that. :)

That whole "nothing new under the sun" maxim is a whole lot truer than we realize, I sometimes think. We've just relabeled it for modern consumption. *grin* I'll look forward to hearing what you think about it.

Feedback is always welcome, regardless of when it comes. And I know all about extra expenses.

I must check this out. I've been curious about steampunk for a year or two and never heard it explained. Thank you.

As long as you realize my explanation is the one that works best for me and that other people probably have very different opinions on the matter. *grin* Then again, we've had similar opinions on a lot of matters.

I am so excited to see the new book coming out.

I loved "20000 leagues under the sea" when I was a child. I remember my father reading it to me the summer when I was 9 a chapter a night.

Journey to the Center of the Earth is my favorite, not that I don't love all of Verne's books. I'll be interested to hear what you think of my spin on the genre.
