Hey, any doctors out there, this is for you.

I'm looking to have my chip removed. Now I know for a time there was an infection going around that was killing anyone who'd had it done. I wanna know if that's been handled yet? Are we in the clear?

Also, I hear there are different locations, there might be a chance that mine isn't where you currently ( Read more... )

Ah-- chips are placed in different locations? Mm, I do believe someone mentioned that earlier, but...

...how would that work, if you don't mind me asking~

[FFF YES TELL RIFUL ABOUT THIS DAMN CHIP OF HERS.]

Apparently, yeah. To kind of keep us from removing them so easily I guess.

I'm not really sure about the things myself, all I know is I don't want it in me.

{Sorry Ri, he's not very helpful in that department. :\ }

That seems terribly confusing. How do you know where to look then, if everyone has their chip in a different place?

Mm, that's very true. I wonder if I should request a removal myself...

[Ri? XDD And it's okay, she'll be poking anywayy~]

I'm...not sure. The doctors know them. I'm guessing maybe a handful have it one place and several others have it somewhere else. At least...that's what it sounded like to me.

{Riful shortened to Ri. He may start calling her that unless she doesn't like nicknames :\}

Hey! I don't believe that's ethically sound... Any of the doctors would've helped you anyway, don't offer something like that!

[locked] Are any of them agreeing to it? Which ones?! [/locked]

I'm a pirate m'lady. I rarely do things that are ethically sound.

My powers are more...destructive than most, they'd end up shouldering the responsibility for the fact I'd lose control of my abilities for a time and all in all it'd probably be a bigger headache if they couldn't just find it right away. I think it's a fair trade. If I have a different location and they find it, then the doctors will know to help others out. And, I get what I want.

Well I'm a medic, and I'm very concerned with what's ethically sound.

Completely irrelevant! We have shelters for people with destructive powers. Besides, it'd do far more harm than potential good, since it could be literally anywhere! Searching for it could involve removing all your skin!

I don't think I could sanction something like that unless the patient was a volunteer, died of unrelated causes, and expressly permitted us to perform an autopsy. Living subjects could cause too much damage. It'll be even harder for you to deal with your ability if you're in a physically weakened state!

[locked] They didn't even bother consulting the other medical staff to see if we were okay with that, and they know damn well that we'd help someone like you either way. It's exploiting you, as well as damaging my trust in them. [/locked]

Not mine. Your shelters would be destroyed by me.

... I'm still a volunteer.

I won't tell you who they are because I feel they did nothing wrong. If you wish to blame anyone, then blame me. It's not exploitation if I'm willing. They're only doing what I want.
