♠ Eight ♠ (Video to Voice; Open for Comment Logging during Event)
{His camera flips on to show the fog through the main entrance of the Hospital. Ace is situated somewhere in the Waiting Room of the first floor. The fog looks unassuming, even a little easier to see through, which is what he's trying to capture on his device.}
Finally, the fog seems to be breaking a little. I can see--
{There is a muffled screech heard from somewhere outside and shapes begin to take form through the mist. Things begin shuffling toward the door and into a clearer view. He's not sure what to make of them, the camera shakes a little as you can hear him drawing some sort of bladed weapon. The audible slide of metal against its sheath is the only evidence of it. He takes a few steps toward the doors to get a better look at them. Seeing the Nurses twitch around and limp to a stop. They begin haphazardly swinging arms, or thrusting themselves at the doors. One impales a knife against the glass. Ace makes a pained noise as it drags the blade down making a nails-on-chalkboard sort of squeal.
He starts back through the Waiting Room to warn the others, making his way out into the main walk only to be blind-sided by more Nurses.
The device clatters to the floor and twists around to show him wrestling with one, while another comes up with its knife raised. He manages to block the swing and push the other off. In a flourish he's delivered a few good swipes, stabbing the nurses and giving himself some space. They keep coming though, to his dismay, but he keeps at it, showing his obvious prowess with a knife. Eventually he fells both of them and stoops to pick up the device.
The camera shows more looming off in the distance, but he breaks for the stairs, turning the video off with his thumb.}
