[Small horse you say. Arya hasn't seen a direwolf since they were still the size of very big pups, so a horse sized Ghost is actually going to be kind of fucking terrifying. But she's rounding a corner, peering around to check out where these stairs go to. Until she hears a running giant direwolf, anyway.]

[Ghost is mildly terrifying, even if you are used to him. And it probably doesn't help at all that when he finds her, he stops dead in his tracks and stares her down with those red eyes. He doesn't snarl though, not at this girl but he is so not going anywhere.]

[A running direwolf who's all white and silent and has read eyes and there is no way. Arya freezes when she sees him, because HORSE SIZED CANINE. But she reminds herself that she's a wolf, too, or she used to be, and that has to be close enough, doesn't it?

It's the eyes that do it, though. Arya forces herself forward a step. The next two are easier, and when she holds out a hand, she isn't afraid at all. Fear cuts deeper than swords.]

Ow-- hey-- geez-- [All the static and shit is hurting his ears, getting to him in a way he's not so good at blocking out right now. He's about to start yelling, when he realizes there's a kid on the screen, a little... boy? girl? and softens.]

[Jesse waves to his communicator screen -- a big wave, to make sure she sees it.] Can you see me?

[Heero is used to being the youngest - and smallest human, probably - on the Barge, but since this new kid looks much younger and is definitely going to town on her communicator, unless there's a flood he didn't hear about, he'd wager a guess and say this kid is stuck here like he is.

He switches on the video, because he figures this is better than being mysterious disembodied voice person, and says in his most empathetic tone of voice (which is still extremely flat):] You need to be more careful with your comm device. You're going to break it.
