Well, for the time being I don't have much call to figure out more than the crossword puzzles, which is a blessing of sorts.

How have you been? Did you get a costume?

Oh? What'd you get, Derrick? I saw Genius is apparently dressed like a doctor gone wrong, but all I got out of his entry was that you were in a tee shirt.

It's a t-shirt with a picture of a hammer on it. Oh, and I have thick leather gloves, too. Not really sure what it means, but Genius is still a geek.

A hammer? And gloves? That's an unusual costume. Maybe it's a gardening theme, what with the gloves and all.

The problem is it's way too hot and humid to go do much in this coat. And for some reason every time I take it off, it just sort of ends up back on me within five minutes. I keep trying to figure it out--I'm sure there's some explanation for it that makes it all make sense...

Sherlock Holmes. You haven't heard of him? He's a character from stories where I come from--he's a very famous detective who can solve even the toughest mysteries.

Memory's a funny thing--I don't know that I could have conjured him off the top of my head, but in seeing the outfit I was wearing, I knew exactly what it was. I was pretty sure I liked mystery novels, but now I'm positive.
