Me and Stuart went to the beyond retro on brick lane.
Theres loads of nice shops down there, and a kinda market on a sunday.
Well worth going too!!!

Yeah thats the one I'm going to, the big warehouse one! Is it as cheap as the book says? What's the atmosphere in there like? Sometimes these shops can be well intimidating cos they're full of UberCool people, y'know?

No its not bad, theres some "cool" people there but the staff were nice enough. Its london so i found the Vintage shops more expensive than in Glasgow.

You found any good charity shops yet?

I haven't really been looking to be honest, the move's well skinted me and I was so busy unpacking last weekend! I'm sure I'll find some good ones :D

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I probably would, but deny it to everyone, y'know? hehe

I will of course fill you in on how the pilgramage to vintage mecca goes. It's next to Shoreditch tube station (which of course is closed for the forseable future!) so the nearest is Liverpool Street, and it looks to be about a 10 minute walk. Apparently it's near Spitalfields market too, so we're off to check that out too.

I have a wee favour to ask of you Millaman...when you come over on your travels, could you bring me an Australia tourist magnet please? A really really tacky one. The most hideous one you can find. I will of course reimburse you with the poundage equivalent (or vodka, your choice hehe). I have accumulated a small collection over the past few months, and I don't want the chance to get some antipodean naff tacky tourist crap to slip through my fingers. xxx
