Hello, great to see you, too! How have you been? (Apart from travelling a lot, from what I saw...)
Philip G. was in "Life on Mars", which you've probably heard of, even if you never watched it. He's kinda bit and lumpy and butch, which is totally not my type. But I'm flexible ;-)
Yeah he just asks for it, that Glenister, that's what you get for being effortlessly hot. He's not my normal type either, so I don't know how the hell he does it. I first fell for him as Dobbin, strangely.
I thought Natasha Little made a great Becky Sharp but seemed to look post-coital a lot of the time. Maybe that's just me . . .
I love your second, palindromic piece in particular : )
He's like the total opposite of my type - but maybe that's it. The radical change.
I very much reconciled with Dobbin by the end. But at first, his naivity grated at my nerves. It was only when he began standing up to people that Glenister's powers of hawt were getting back into swing ;-)
I thought she looked almost too flawless a lot of the time, which contrasted nicely with her edgy personality. Also, when I posted this, I hadn't watched all episodes yet, and her character deteriorated rapidly in the last two ones. Which was quite sad, really.
Heh! Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, despite the character death(s) :-)
I haven't written anything in a long time, not even poetry. Although, I think I have a few cracked Doctor Who ideas floating around my noggin!
I told you all is well ::grin::
I tend to sit on things, btw, that's the only reason on that other matter, I was even able to contribute. I haven't seen it yet. Oh, yes, and if you want to read something fun, check out the Life on Mar/Doctor Who X-over called Master on Mars by Lorrabe! You will laugh until you split your sides, I kid you not!
Also, I added you to my f-list. I'm a terrible on-line friend - just ask my other LJ friends.... ::grin:: I forget b-days, and all those fun things.... Drat, I still am not ready for my trip. Yeti legs ::me:: and have to wash hair, find underwear, pajama-wear, etceterawear....
I haven't written anything for ages, either. I've got several WIPs sitting on my harddrive which are doomed to remain there forever if I don't overcome the writer's block already.
Thanks for the tip! I'll make sure to check out lorrabe asap. I always welcome a good reason to procrastinate.
I added you, too. I'm sure I'm a much more terrible online friend, though - my online habits are very much influenced by my RL schedule; if I'm busy in RL, I hardly ever check out LJ. (As you can see from the fact that my last post was in September!) But I try to catch up on Important Things whenever I'm back in LJ land.
I feel flaky - can't get organized. Hope you are still uploading. I'm sure people still want the larger files to compare: They are huge mooches ::grin::
I will make a post pointing them to Simm Heaven after this. But not until after you post.
