It reminds me of my Cowardly Dog, who is also ridiculously fond of cats. The same cannot be said for all cats, however. In the winter 2008, my mother was sheltering Random Cat and her kittens - the Cowardly Dog was so attached to the cats that she refused to eat until they were eating too, and terrified the kittens by trying to play with them. Random Cat would snuggle up to Cowardly Dog for naps, but any attempt to play would end in an angry swipe and hiding in a place the dog cannot possibly reach. It was a very eventful winter.
I don't have any cats&dogs stories, but there's one about my parents' cats, who don't like each other very much. They're sort of, okay, so we are living in the same house and are being fed by the same people, but that doesn't mean we're friends (a bit like my brothers and me when we were younger). When my parents went on holiday, the cats went looking for them in the neighbours' gardens, bravely facing the neighbours's dog and always together. It must have been a true buddy-movie experience.
