Different team, but did you have tickets to see Manchester United when they tour in the LA area soon? One of my co-workers managed to yank them from his friend for free, and I'm beyond jealous.

Amanda's got connections for free tickets, so I think we're going to Man Utd. We'll root for the other team, though we really wanted to root for them to push Beckham around. Small pleasures, you know?

I go to soccer here sometimes, as I am a Galaxy fan watching MLS. Because of all the immigrants here, LA is a decent soccer town.

I can't play soccer worth squat, but I enjoy watching it. Talk about small pleasures- the original reason I got into soccer (and rooted for Man U) was David Beckham. I couldn't help it, I thought he was the bees knees. Now that they traded him, I wonder if Man U has a leg to stand on? But I love Liverpool FC as a whole. What I wouldn't give to see a match.

The reason I hate Man U is that they had Beckham...World Cup '98, you know. Bunch of sheepshaggers all. I go back to Ian Rush in the 1980's.

thats a pretty sharp jersey, I like it. did you ever go to any pro games when you lived in Europe, that is on my to do list for my life goals. the reason MAN U arent dominating anymore is because of no more Schmeichel. in my opinion, he is the best goalie of my lifetime. I am ready for the worldcup now.

It was really hard to get tickets to FC Porto, my team, but I lucked into one with my boss vs Kiev. I wish I'd have appreciated it more. I wasn't sure just how respected FC Porto was back then (1987) but they were among the elite in Europe.
