I am wearing my lucky hockey boxers. I need a shower. But that is beside the point. What's disturbing is that The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim could somehow win the Stanley Cup. This is wrong. If you've ever been to Orange County, California you know what I mean. Next we'll have Canadian surfing champions.

There's a wonderful story about Glenn Hull who was a goalie for the Blackhawks.

The story goes that he took a stick to the face and had to get sewn up on the bench and took about 30 some odd stitches. He went right back into the game as soon as they tied the last stitch off because he said that in Hockey you don't cry.

I see these guys now, wearing these plastic boxes on their heads so that they don't get a cut or anything and it makes me sometimes think that the love of the game is kind of gone. Craig McTavish was the last guy in the NHL to play without a helmet. I think that he retired in the early 90's.

Yeah, the only messed up/handsome hockey players left got that way back in school or something. By juniors they are a bunch of pansies now. I remember Craig McTavish.
