Entry number sixteen

I'm struggling to write some more poems. We have to hand in them tomorrow, so I must have a few. Writing poems isn't my thing. Not at all. But I have to try. I have no idea if they are any good. I looked at those that were in the book, Evelyn Ghost, because those poems felt more right for me to try to imitate than Shakespeare, Keats, Tranströmer, or whatever poets that we had to read in school.

Three -
Your smile makes, my face lights up
Your eyes makes, my heart flutter
Your hands makes, my body to tremble

It happens again and again
It effective put me to fall
You simply charge me up

If this isn't love
What would it be called?
When all of you tingle
As soon your close.

It's harder than you might think. I just have to make up one more, as I have no idea if number one will count as a poem. To copy them from the handwritten draft does not show how long it takes to actually get them together. Even if I'm not getting them checked or… I can say, in any case, I've written them myself, no copying here. I'm guessing that it probably will be someone in the class that will take the easier road. What fun is that? And it's cheating.

Four -
You thinking
Whom are you thinking?
Could it be me?
I hope, fervently.
That it can be on me.

When you not reveal any
You don't know
On what
All you can do
Is to wait
Until you say what

Hoping, hoping that these will be approved.

By the way, I almost forgot that I was going to give a review or write up the books I've read. So here's the first.

Book title: Evelyn Ghost
Author: Maria Hede
Note: Written in 1987, youth, anorexia nevrosa
Read: For English Class
Review: Relatively easy to read, I think I liked the book because it was written in a diary format. It's about a girl who is a few years older than me. She looks at herself as fat, and has put herself on a very strict diet, including eating a certain number of calories (very few). You get an insight into what it's like to live with the disease, at least it feels that way.

I guess it's an example, to make the reader feel horrified about anorexia - that you should beware. Especially as I considered/started to go on a diet - I want to be slim. But so far, this should not be a problem. Evelyn weighed at the beginning of the book a little more than 22 pounds less than I do. She is probably taller than me, I'm short and thick. So if I were to lose the pounds I want, I would probably never be at risk. I would not let it go that far anyway.

My weight is now 137 pounds, according to our scale. I want to get down to 110.
I've made a pretty good attempt to change things. I've even tried to eat a little less each meal. At least I have not taken second, as I have previously very often done. Will weigh myself soon and see if I've got anywhere.

PS. We have one more week to read the book before we need to talk about it and leave a report.
