So, there's some final polishing to do, but A.C. is on its maiden submission, so I'm declaring it done and the journey I started with it in 2003 finally done.

I have finished a novel. It took me over 20 years and 5 versions of A.C. plus attempts at at least 2 other novels to figure it out and get here, but I did it and am proud of myself
