This comment is so belated I don't feel guilty about commenting on only its fine details instead of its overall message/feel/whatever. :3

I like how the puzzle pieces begin to feel even more like the Puzzle itself as soon as Yugi takes ahold of them. Fascinating canon tie-in that's still 100% our own beloved Yugi (who, among other traits, is SO much more attractive than canon).

I *love* Aidan's notes. Seeing other writers' shorthand is absolute candy to me.

And the last subscene is so much cute. Watching Aidan play along (honestly, a little surprising, even though I should know better than that) and Yugi follow the game (not so surprising) is just eee-inducing. ♥ ^_^
