God of War 2 improves on GoW1 in every way shape and form.

I think but one this is missing from GoW2. Everything is improved in gameplay etc, but there are some scenes that would be so much more amazing if they were cutscenes. That's my only complaint. More cutscenes!

GoW 1 and GoW2 is indeed engaging and worth while to waste time on. To hell with the dishes, to hell with chores. Just give me a few hours in a locked room with nothing but a controller in hand, a bag of crisps and some highly caffeinated softdrink nearby.

Glad you like the game. I posted about it a while back but I didn't get any other feedback from fellow lj-ers. Like I said, glad someone out there enjoys that game too.

Huh, I don't recall that post. But I'm guessing that I simply went "Aww," and tried to forget that it was so awesome. :) Because at the time, I couldn't play it, cause I didn't have a PS2. But after having multiple people tell me it was the shit, and then playing GoW2 for a couple of days, I knew I just had to grab a PS2 at some point and catch up on the games I'd always wanted to play but hadn't had a chance to. I know you love Devil May Cry, for example. Now, I have a chance to play it! :)

Any other PS2 reccomendations from teh Miyuki? *hugs tight*

My favorite game, hands down. Play GoW2, you won't be disappointed. It's uber.

I have played GoW2, but sheesh, come on guys... I know it's BETTER, but why do you think I'm playing through the first game first? Not like there's any rush or anything! ;)

Also I keep getting distracted by Bully, which is also a very awesome game, loving it. So either way I'm being well entertained. :)

You couldn't put down the first or the second?

I only have limited time per day to play games these days, so I won't be finished the first game for a while. But that doesn't worry me in the slightest - why would I want such a good game to end? Nope, I'm going to enjoy every second of it. :)
