Why don't you buy the novel with the extras and send your not-as-good copy to me? ^_^ Hehe.
I have book vouchers, maybe I can source a copy locally and just buy it new. We'll see. I'll add Gaimon to my list of favourite searches that get delivered to me every day, along with my Pratchett and Paolini searches.
Yeah. I don't get the Paolini hatred. But I haven't read his novels or seen the film. I know people who really enjoyed them, and people that didn't. Guess I'll find out for myself at some point. :)
It was "Neverwhere". And deprive you of your Gamon novels? If you're anything like me, that would be quite an unthinkable act! Books are collectables, things I can never let go of no matter how little I read them anymore.
Besides, that would be such a kind act that I would feel obliged to return the favour. Not sure if I've got anything you want, but maybe we could do a swap of some kind? Could be fun. :) Hell, I'd even let go of a book if I was getting a book in return. But I'm not sure I have anything you want (or that I'd be prepared to let go of >_>).
*chuckles* I'd be happy to find it and send it to you. I have a half-price bookstore right down the street. And it's Gaiman, by the way. Hope to catch up soon
You know, I get corrected so rarely that for that alone, I won't forget his name again. :)
I'll have to associate it with "homosexual" rather than "common anime name" or "happy rastafarian".
Thankyou muchly for the book-hunting offer. After paying for postage and everything, though, I'm not sure it would work out much cheaper. :) But I'll keep it in mind.
I'm still trying to find someone to go to IM with me. I can't go by myself! Is their new album out yet? I'm really interested to hear it.
A good friend of mine has a girlfriend who is an avid bookworm as well. She recently wrote in her blog:
"I have reached the stage where I will have to buy another bookcase, for years I was struggling against it, limiting the number of books I buy, but in the last few months I have really got back into reading, and now my bookshelf is overflowing. I just dont want to have to box even more books next time I move."
Once a reader, always a reader. And I'm facing the same problem... need more bookshelf-space. But if you ask me, it's a good problem to have. =)
