"Well, forgive me for thinking its fascinating that you can dig up a skeleton that's been dead a couple hundred years and be able to tell their sex,..." Aiden snatches down one of the diagrams and starts to hastily roll it back up, "age, ethnicity, nutritional deficiencies,"....she shoves it into her briefcase and starts to do the same to the other one. obviously her feelings have been hurt. "if they gave birth, injuries, surgeries, diseases, environmental conditions, where they came from, what their life and death were like," She forgets herself, her accent getting heavier without even noticing it

"But I don't get a prom or any of the fun the others get." Heather answered. "Instead it's just me and you, and yeah you can teach me stuff they wouldn't in school.... but I hate learning."
"You're parents are like, loaded." Aiden said, looking around to emphasize her point. "And Daddy's so desperate to keep you out of prison or winding up dead in a gutter that I'll bet if you graduate he'll let you throw your own prom. And everyone is gonna wanna come to the party of the girl who got kicked outta school. I mean, wouldn't you?"
"And as far as learning goes, your learning all the time. You just don't know it. Look, there's certain things you have to know to pass the tests, but besides that we can delve deeper into any field of research you want. No research papers no deadlines. Don't you have any interests? Things you want to know more about. Questions about how and why things are the way they are."
Aiden opened and closed her mouth more than once. She had most certainly not been expecting that. And now she wasn't quite sure weather Heather was actually expecting an answer or if she was simply making fun of her.
Aiden sighted deeply. "I think as far as He goes if he was or is everything people seem to make Him out to be then He doesn't make anything wrong. Or at the very least if He didn't have it all planned out He would love you regardless

"Oh, you haven't heard about the penguins?" Aiden stated with a happy laugh. "Apparently there were these two male penguins at some zoo somewhere. They were deeply in love and devoted to each other and they wanted to hatch an egg. They tries to steal and egg, they tried to sneak one, the poor things even tried to hatch a rock. Eventually their keepers felt so bad for them that they gave them a fertilized egg to hatch. I think they were good parents too. I heard the story was made into a children's book though I haven't seen it."
Aiden continued to smirk and refused to take the bait. Although she very much wanted to. "Well at least that's better then how you see me, as some smart as know it all bitch who's just trying to make your life miserable."
