It would mean a lot to me if you could donate some money to my family. This is a charitable event that we are walking in to raise money for Claude Coelho, a member of my family who currently had his treatment stopped because it was no longer helping his cancer. Just a couple of days ago we were told by his doctor that he has only 2 weeks-2 months

I know this sounds really insensitive, and I don't mean it to be. If the treatment is stopped because it isn't helping, why do you need the money for him?

It's for our walk. The money we raise will go towards finding cures for this life ending disease. It's not going towards him personally. I can't do anything to help him so we are doing what we can in trying to prevent other families from going through what we are going through.
