Woe is me.

The air mattress was fine and would have continued to be fine if I hadn't decided to bring a pencil onto it ( Read more... )

wanna see a magic trick?, farewell to air, angst, a sign from above?, woe

Because otherwise you're going to keep popping air mattresses.

I won't make the same mistake with the pencil again? I learned my lesson.

I just don't want to have to go through the process of finding a bed when this one works just fine. I haven't changed anything since you were last here and I haven't really missed what I don't have.

It's easier to clean, too.

Four then three?

I guess I've never really considered bringing someone back to my apartment. That's certainly something to think about.

How would you suggest I go about getting a bed buddy for the night? Should I put up fliers?

I'm just not used to being in, to be honest with you. Which is why I haven't really worried about furniture. But I guess if I want to make someone feel at home in my apartment, I'll have to, won't I?

Are you offering? I need to know who to ask, after all. ;)

I'll keep that in mind.

I suppose I have to choose a good bed, then?

Mm, I'd second Apollo's suggestion of 3 and 4. Of course, the order is interchangeable.

But really, sweetling, air mattresses are dire.

Interchangeable? I like the way you think. ♥

Dire?

So do I~

Vile. Real furniture, angel. There's a charming place a few blocks away. Their delivery men are sweethearts.

There's a place nearby? And they deliver?

You do not have real furniture? Not to imply that you were not fine previously, of course, but I cannot imagine that an air mattress would be terribly comfortable for an extended period of time.

Um.

Are you still in need of a place to stay?

I didn't mind it so far. I've figured out that my floor is much less comfortable.

I do, actually.

Well, floors are generally lacking in cushions. Which does present a problem when one is trying to be any proper sort of comfortable, I would imagine.

Would you like one?

(ooc: I'm sure that Pavlov won't mind. He's a pretty chill dude.)

My back and the rest of my body agrees wholeheartedly with you.

If you have one, I would graciously accept the offer so long as it would not put you out in the process.
