I have some very fond memories associated with The Secret Garden. For a great while, my mom made it a habit of reading to my brother, my sister and I in between when she got off work in the evening and when we went to bed each night. We loved it. We would gather around her and she would read a chapter or two. We liked the books she chose and we also delighted in any and all attention she gave us (Do you remember when you felt that way about your mother? I sometimes feel that way still... like a revert back to childhood). Well The Secret Garden was one of the books she read to us. I loved it.
