“Father, Please!”
“Kim Junsu, i said no, end of discussion”
“But…” Junsu’s father looked at his son, he could see the hurt in his eyes but he wouldn’t let his guard down. He gave the boy a look which normally showed that it was really the end of the discussion but this time he wasn’t prepared for the boy to drop down on his knees and bowed deeply, his forehead touching the ground.
“Please, father! I really want to go, please!” Junsu cried out, he didn’t care if he looked like a beggar right now, he really wanted to go.
“No Junsu! I already told you no and that’s it!” Junsu felt tears in his eyes building up as he stood up and he looked desperately at his mother who sat in the chair next to her husband.
“Mother, please!” he pleaded with her now and Junsu saw that her eyes were shining too. “Junsu, I said end of discussion! Go to your room” his father cut in between their staring and Junsu reacted a bit like a machine hearing the order. “I hate you!” he shouted and with a sob he ran up the stairs.
“Honey, aren’t you a little too harsh on him?” Junsu’s mother asked as she looked at her husband. “Maybe, but Junsu’s grades has been failing a lot ever since he started listening to that ..singer.. , And his social life is going downwards too, he’s only in his own world and when he is talking it’s about “him”. “ Junsu’s mother sighed deeply before her husband continued. “I want to show him that there are more important things in life than a stupid singer.” His wife stood up from the chair and shook her head. “You’re really hurting him right now, you know that right?”
Junsu father stood up too, “I know, but I’ve already said no. If I change my answer he would think he has the authority in this house. But as long as he stays under my roof he doesn’t have a say in this” And he walked away.
---
Junsu slammed his bedroom door shut with a loud bang. He opened it and slammed it shut again just to let the people below hear how angry he was. After that he locked the door and fell on his bed.
His bedroom was a Park Yoochun haven. Posters of the highly popular male were on every wall. Some official and some printed out. There was a special place for the man’s albums in one of the corners and Junsu grabbed one of the cd’s .
He played the cd , making sure the volume was up high. Stupid parents not realizing how much he wanted to go! In a few months, Park Yoochun. THE Park Yoochun would be giving a concert in Junsu’s hometown. And his parents weren’t letting him go. What would the people at school say? At school he was known as “Yoochun’s number 1 fan boy” what would they say if he told them he isn’t going to the concert? Junsu rubbed his teary eyes and rolled down on his side.
Looking at one of the many posters next to his bed he started to recall how this man had changed his life. It started two years ago, Junsu had a girlfriend at the time and the both of them were a happy and cute couple. Only when Junsu found out about Yoochun’s music the couple changed. Junsu was too focused on the singers movements that he didn’t pay attention to his girlfriend any more. She said that he was too obsessed with the man and when he only started to talk about him she dumped him… over a text message.
To his surprise , Junsu didn’t mind being dumped. It was actually a freedom so now he could listen and look up more from this idol. Park Yoochun had started in the music business three years ago. Junsu found out about him two years ago but that didn’t matter, he considered himself a die-hard fan. The only difference was that he wasn’t one to find his house and stalk him. He thought that it was disrespectful for the man’s privacy. Before Yoochun, he never thought he was perhaps gay. Or bisexual. But ever since Yoochun had come in his life he caught himself having fantasies more than 4 times a day. And not just normal ones but sexual ones. Especially when he was with his ex-girlfriend. He always visualized Park Yoochun.
He sat upright in his bed as his breathing became normal and he stopped crying. He looked around his bed room , taking note of how messy the place was one an idea popped in to his head. If his parents weren’t letting him go , he would sneak out. Every time he cleaned up his room he found money laying around in the most unexpected places. It had fallen behind the desk or it was in between the pages of a book.
It was worth the shot to look.
Junsu remembered that the concert tickets were about 80 euro’s , if he could find enough money in his room he could maybe go. He would sneak out of his bed room window and climb back in when the concert ended. His parents didn’t need to find out!
With this thought in mind he started to clean up his room. Searching for any money. He folded his clean clothes after checking the pockets and placed them in the closet. He also checked his dirty clothes he was too lazy to wash and checked them too. He almost squealed in delight when he grabbed out five euro from the pocket. He placed the bill in his jeans pocket he was wearing at the moment and looked further.
An hour and a half passed and Junsu found 40 euro’s in the most unpredictable places just like he thought. He even grabbed the cents and placed the money on is now clean desk. 40 euro’s , only 40 more and he could go! Without wasting any minute he continued to search. But after fifteen minutes he groaned out loud and lay on his bed. He didn’t find any more money and he felt like crying again.
He wished that it was his birthday. His aunt always gave him money and he always wasted it by being candy with that money. Wait a moment… his aunt…Junsu stepped out of his bed and grabbed one of his defected speakers. He remembered only now that he had placed money in here and he had totally forgotten about it!
With an excited feeling in his stomach he started to pry the small speaker open with his fingers and grabbed out a two 20 euro’s and a ten euro bill. He screamed in delight but quickly held his hand against his mouth. He was supposed to be sad and angry.
With the money in his pocket he went downstairs. He pretended to have a gloomy expression on and announced that he was going to take a walk. His mother nodded her head in understanding. Her son probably needed to release the anger and sadness and taking a walk in the fresh air helped.
Junsu felt bad lying to his parents but… this was Park Yoochun! He couldn’t get this opportunity slip away! He held his hands in his pockets as he kept touching the money.
Arriving at his destination , the doors of the bank opened up and he pressed a button showing which number he was and sat down on one of the chairs. He waited for a good fifteen minutes and he couldn’t believe he was actually doing this. He was going to the concert! “Number 352 B?” Junsu checked his number and stood up.
“Good day, how can I help you?” The woman behind the desk asked as she smiled with a fake smile at Junsu. “I want to place this money in my bank account” His empty bank account. But not for long hehe. “Alright sir” she said and took the money. “I just need your ID card and bank number please” Junsu told her his information and in a few minutes later Junsu was walking on the street again.
He walked towards his home with his bank card in his jacket. “Junsu!” He turned around when he heard someone call his name and smiled when he saw his best friend. “Hyukkie!” he shouted back and waved at the boy on the other side of the street. He waited until the cars passed by and Hyuk Jae was crossing the street.
“Have you heard?! Park Yoochun is coming to our town!” he shouted and flailed his arms up and down. “I know! Isn’t it awesome!” Junsu yelled in excitement. “I’ve got the tickets, you’re going too right? Yoochun’s number 1 fanboy HAS to go!” Junsu nodded his head. “I-I’ve got the tickets too!” he lied. Well, half lied. In some time he would be the proud owner of a ticket too.
“Anyways” HyukJae said. “I have to go, I promised my mother to help her clean up the house.” Junsu smiled and nodded. “Okay” “I’ll see you in school, bye!” and he was gone.
Junsu laughed to himself as he entered his home. “Someone is in a better mood” Junsu froze when he looked at his mother. He forgot to put on a sad expression! “I - uh.. I guess the walk cleared my head…” he answered. “Well I’m glad it worked, dinner will be ready in half an hour.” Junsu nodded and went up to his room.
He opened up his laptop and waited until his laptop had started up. He took his bank pass and placed it in front of him, ready to type the numbers on the card down. The login screen popped up and after typing in his password he opened up the internet and typed the address in the search engine.
The ticket website opened and he searched under the name of Park Yoochun. He smiled seeing a picture of the male playing the piano and he clicked on the link.
Junsu’s heart was beating faster and faster. He was going to the concert! He clicked the link to the “buy tickets” and it was then that his heard fell and broke in to millions of pieces. He refreshed the page , maybe there was an error but after refreshing the same words seemed to punch and stomp on his heart.
*Sold out*
__
Two months passed and at school he thought his heart was going to burst in pain when he heard everyone talking about the concert. A group of girls were giggling as one of them told the others how she got VIP tickets. Junsu walked away quickly before his jealousy took the best of him. But even on the other side of the hallway he found students talking about Park Yoochun. In the back of his mind he realized how annoying it was and maybe this is what the others felt whenever Junsu was talking about him? “Hello Junsu”
Junsu turned around and saw his history teacher smiling down at him. “Hello Jung seonsangnim~” Junsu greeted back and bowed his head. Mr. Jung bowed his head too at his student. “So, is the number one fan boy ready for the big concert?” he grinned. Even the teachers knew about his undying love for Park Yoochun. “O-of course!” Junsu lied and felt his cheeks blazing. “Well, I have to go teach now. I hope you have fun at the concert” and with that he walked towards his classroom.
This lie had been going around for the past two months. He would smile and lie every time someone mentioned the concert. But in his heart he was in pain. There came times he actually started to believe his own lies but that all changed when he got back home and there weren’t any concert tickets.
At the night of the concert, Junsu had locked himself up in his room and cried. He stared at the huge poster on the ceiling. People were listening to Park Yoochun’s voice now and seeing him in real life. Junsu, the number 1 fan boy was locked In his bedroom crying. It wasn’t fair! Life wasn’t fair!
His crying seemed to make him sleepy and before he knew it he fell asleep.
Another week passed and Junsu had to hear from EVERYONE how amazing the concert was. Even guys who were dragged to the concert by their girlfriends admitted that he was good live. Junsu felt like crying every time but he pretended to know what they were talking about. As if he had been there too.
“And when he started to sing *My Girlfriend* my boyfriend wrapped his arms around me and sang with the lyrics! It was perfect!” one of the girls in his class said and Junsu only nodded. After the week was over the Park Yoochun fever seemed to die down as well and the students were talking about other things again. Junsu felt relieved when they stopped talking about the concert .
----
At home he was helping his mother in the kitchen making dinner. He loved spending time with his mother, especially when he could help with her cooking. But even though his mother loved Junsu , he wasn’t the best help in the kitchen. He would cut his finger with the knife or he would drop the ingredients or burn them. His mother sighed when she heard another pained cry.
“Junsu, honey.” She had to play this tactical because she didn’t want to hurt her son’s feelings. “Can you go to the store? I forgot the milk” Junsu nodded his head and smiled. “Of course , mother~! “ He grabbed the money from his mother’s hand and walked out of the door. “Save!” she laughed and continued her cooking.
The weather outside was nice so there was no need for a jacket. Junsu breathed in the fresh air and walked towards the mall. He grabbed his ipod and placed the earphones in his ears and pressed play. Park Yoochun’s deep voice filled his ears as he continued to walk. He met a few of his classmates at the mall but he didn’t do more than wave at them. His mother was waiting for the milk. In the supermarket store he bought the milk and with a small smile he handed the cashier the money before walking out.
As he walked, with the pack of milk in his hands. Junsu saw that a new shop had opened up in corner of one of the hallway’s ends. His curiosity grew and decided to check the place out. He wasn’t prepared for a door to slam against his face when he stood close by and he could only see the blurry sight of someone with shoulder long black hair and big square dark eyes leaning over him before he blacked out.
The man above Junsu took off his sunglasses as he leaned over the boy whom had fainted. “Hey! Hey kid, wake up!” he tapped the boy’s cheeks but he wouldn’t wake. The male sighed as he looked around, he needed help and now! He picked the student up bridal style and walked away. Leaving the spilt milk bottle on the floor and unaware of a cellphone camera filming everything that happened.
----
Junsu groaned in pain as he opened up his eyes. His hand went to his forehead and he rubbed the place, feeling a bump on it. He thought he was in his own room and to look at Park Yoochun’s poster above his head but he found that the poster was gone! He sat upright on the bed and it was then that he realized that this was not his room! What had happened?! He didn’t remember going to a party so why was he in another bedroom?
His eyes widened. Was he kidnapped?! “Oh god, no ! I’m too young to die! “ he muttered to himself. But if he was kidnapped he would have been tight up right? And he wasn’t , he even wore his own clothes. So he was kidnapped by a nonsexual kidnapper who didn’t like to tie his or her victims, yes that was it!
The door on the right side of the bed room opened up and someone appeared in the door frame. “You’re awake!” Junsu heard the voice and he looked towards the direction. He could have sworn that his heart skipped a beat when he saw the male walking inside the bed room. His face was so… angelic… and it looked so soft. And those eyes, those big brown eyes seemed to look right in to his soul. Junsu felt his cheeks blazing. “W-w-who are you? W-where am I ? And…and w-why am I here?” He questioned with a stutter.
The male chuckled as he sat on the edge of the bed. “My name is Kim Jaejoong, you are in my bed and the reason you are in my bed is because you fainted at the mall” Junsu frowned. Fainted at the mall? What was he talking about? “But… but if I fainted in the mall why am I here?” And WHY did his name sounded so familiar?! “Because the emergency center at the mall said you would wake up soon and it wasn’t something to go to a hospital with.
My boss and I searched for an ID on you so that we could bring you back home but found none. Neither a cellphone. So we decided to bring you here until you woke up.” Jaejoong smiled and patted the boys shoulder. “So, now that you know who I am , care to tell me your name?”
“k-kim Junsu”
“K-Kim Junsu? Unusual name...”
“NO! Kim Junsu, my name is Kim Junsu”
“I know kid, I was just playing” Junsu felt like he was blushing again but Jaejoong ignored it. “I have dinner ready downstairs, if you want to eat you are more than welcome” he smiled and walked out of the room.
Junsu felt his stomach growling in hunger at the mentioned of dinner. And it was then that he remembered what had happened. He had been buying a bottle of milk when a door had slammed in his face…that was all he remembered. This man, Jaejoong… he seemed like a nice person. Not a deranged psychopath at all. Even though those eyes seemed cold he had heard the concerned tone in jaejoong’s voice when the man had entered the bedroom previously.
Junsu stood up and straightened his shirt. He checked himself in the mirror and tried to style his hair a bit before walking down the stairs. The place was big! Almost like a mansion. And it took him a few minutes to find the kitchen.
“Ah there you are!” Junsu heard Jaejoong say with a laugh and motioned the boy inside of the kitchen. The food that was displayed on the table was delicious! Even without tasting it it seemed so wonderful. “If you would sit here” jaejoong said and now motioned Junsu to one of the chairs. “And I will call my boss that dinner is ready” Junsu nodded without taking his eyes off of the food. He hoped this so called boss would hurry up so he could eat!
It didn’t take long for JaeJoong to come back and he sat down in one of the chairs. “He would be here any second.” As if on cue, the kitchen door opened again and Junsu looked away from the food to smile at the “boss”.
His smile faded in to a shocked expression and the shocked expression turned in to a frown before he jumped up from the chair.
“You’re.. you’re ..! “ he shouted in a high pitched voice as he stared at the man who chuckled at Junsu’s actions. “I’m?” he asked and Junsu swore he was drooling over the sound of the male voice. “Pa..park…Yoo-“
And he fainted.
Again.
