I don't normally bother with this sort of link, but have you ever seen anything cuter than these? Baby frogmouths!
They almost don't look real, they're so sweet.

I almost expect to see a label attached to their bottoms!

They are lovely, aren't they? Though I don't know what one would feed a very small frogmouth...

The whole baby animal thing normally doesn't do anything for me, but these are adorkable. They're cute because they're so weird looking.

I really like the whole weird/cute thing they have going on there. The adults are also great, and even more wierd looking (the_reda has just supplied a great link below...)

We have them in our back yard! I've never seen the babies - they're so adorable! The adult birds are quite fierce to look at, but their call is lovely, a kind of mournful bee-boo hoot. They're also called Mopokes, I guess it's onomatopoeic.

You have Frogmouths in your garden, OMG! Why is Australian wildlife so much cooler than anywhere else? *envies*

I would love to see one in the wild!

They're hard to see in the wild, because they're super good at camouflage; they look just like a dead branch, until they open their yellow eyes and look at you ferociously. I've never seen the ones in the back-yard, but I can hear them at night.

Wow... that does sound amazingly cool. I can just imagine the ferocious stare.

My parents sometimes get tawny owls on their roof. I've heard them every summer since I was young, but I've only ever seen them three times (the owls I mean, not my parents!)
