Seriously, though, st_aurafina  has produced a really lovely fic called Contemporaries, in which she shows Carlisle Cullen encountering various other doctors from history: Van Helsing, Dr Who, Dana Scully...

It's not long at all - only about 2000 words - but it doesn't need to

That was a great little fic, very enjoyable. I got over my initial shock of your recommendation and read it.

I still haven't read any of the Twilight books, although I saw (and mocked) the movie.

I thought the film was rather sweet - I definitely preferred it to the book.

I'm not sure if I'd recommend the Twilight books or not, though I have a Twilight tag, which is mostly my thoughts on the subject, if you want a masochist's take on what it's like to read them. If you thought the film was funny, there's certainly plenty in the books to amuse you, that's for certain... just not really in a good way.

oh yipes!! i was supposed to comment ona nentry below or above this in m yflist. it was someone askign for a name for oen of their goldfish. i cna't even remember reading one of your entries today. ack! sorry. i suggest we freeze this thread or delete the whole mess.
next time i shoudl not try to kwikly check lj before my bus leaves whilst i'm als obusy fiddling aroudn with my twitter page. boo!
