Thank you! I actually went back to edit that line to add the second clause so I am so glad I did! But god could I not have a send end. I CAN'T DEAL WITH THEIR ANGST ON THE SCREEN RIGHT NOW SO I WILL MAKE IT RIGHT GODDAMMIT! WHY ARE YOU GROWING INTO SUCH A SELFLESS MOCKERY OF A GROWN UP MARY!

I put all of my Civil Wars on while writing this and once I finished their cover of Disarm came on and I was like; OH MY GOD KIDS (both Mary/Matthew and The Civil Wars) STOP MAKING ME OBSESSIVE AND HEARTBROKEN AND IN LOVE. So yes, their similarities kill me and I'm glad I finally managed to write that down.

This is just beautiful! You made me cry like a baby! :(
I cannot deal with their angst on screen and the thought here of Matthew getting so close to marrying Lavinia but knowing that he can't because of his love for Mary is just heartbreaking!
The ending cheered me up somewhat though! :)
