She needs to be a HBIC with some a backstory on how she decided she was going to be the HBIC and have it make sense, though >:| LOL OH WAIT WRONG VERSION
"Oh, Romeo is that a dagger in your pants or are you just happy to see me? ;D" "No, it's a dagger" "Oh :c"
*crying forever over those Arabian Nights dolls* Neeeeeeeed....
YEAH. I am trying not to be mad at my Morgana dolls right now. IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT. D: lmao.
Poor Juliet. (At least she didn't come with any kind of vial. *sobs*)
*strokes you* When I took these pictures, I thought, "I need to write a will and put these in there for Shi, just in case." (Is this morbid?) YOU NEED THEM. ♥_♥
Morticia is so elegant even though her dress is really quite simple, and I absolutely adore her. Gomez makes me giggle. Herman and Lily were done really wonderfully, as well, and I wish I'd gotten them ages ago. They're so expensive now, sigh.
Thank you so much. :) I try never to take them for granted, really - they've been collected over such a long period of time and have all come from special people or because of special occasions. They all have unique reasoning behind their places in my heart. <3
Thank you so much! ♥ Guinevere is my mom's favorite because of those incredible fabrics. They used such a beautiful pattern on her. There's something special about the detailing and design they put into the older couple sets. :)
I adore R&J and Camelot but also find it kind of amusingly twisted that they called them the "Together Forever Collection." Neither of them ended well, sigh. But I do love them anyway, and take comfort in the fact that at least Aragorn and Arwen and Gomez and Morticia ended up well. (Gomez/Morticia has to be one of the most darling couples of pop culture.)
That Galadriel is so pretty. :) They did a really good job creating that costume in 1/6th scale. Have you seen the Tonner? I covet her. Maybe someday...
I like to look for "real" pictures of them rather than the Tonner stock photos because those are somehow never accurate. Weirdly enough, the actual dolls tend to be much prettier than the prototypes on the site. It's rather curious to me how lousy their own photography generally is - it seems like that's not the best marketing plan?
Exactly! They chose to romanticize them and conveniently forget the unhappily ever afters. And don't get me wrong, I'm all for the fairytale ending, but it seems like there could have been a more appropriate title than "Together Forever." They should have included Rhett and Scarlett - a nice rounded out Trio of Tragedy. ;)
YOU DIDN'T KNOW? Those were the top of my Barbie wishlist for 12 years of my life, I kid you not. I used to look at pictures of them and just sigh. Sometimes I am still in shock that they're here. I don't even think I have words to describe this; they mean so much to me. <3
I downsized my pictures so much to make them not kill everyone's internet space. I'm not sure if this one is any better?
