Summary: It is well known that Sesshoumaru’s emotions are rarely revealed but on that night there was no mistaking what he was feeling.
Signs of what he was feeling would only ever come in glimpses. A raised eyebrow, a gritting of the teeth, and if one was lucky maybe even a slight upward turn of the lips. They would only last maybe a second or two and then they would be swept away by his ever present mask. Maybe it explained Kagome’s fascination with the enigma that was Sesshoumaru. She didn’t know and she didn’t think she ever would. But that evening was an exception for there was no doubt in her mind of what he was feeling.
Unmistakable desire. Desire for her.
