I liked this a lot. I mean... A LOT. I like the feelings it gave, the dread, the anticipation, and some other unknown feelings. heh.
But I like that he counted down and holy crap, she doesn't go through the well.

Interesting entry. Well written, and the warning 'angsty' is well put here. I liked how you included both sides, the predator and the prey in the most bloody sense of those words. Also I wouldn't have come to this idea with the prompt 'close', it was a very positive suprise. Thank you for sharing this :)
