At least that was Kagome’s reasoning as she wiped at the salty tears on her face with a loud sniffle. She just needed a moment to morn her broken dreams and nurse her tattered heart.
“Miko,” Kagome flinched as she felt careful claws wipe at the wet tracks on her face. “You are leaking.”
Sesshoumaru leaned over her, watching in silence for a moment before shifting to sit at her side. “He is a fool.”
