When Kagome heard banging to her room at 5.50 a.m., she happily decided to ignore it. After few minutes the person on the other side of the door, seemed to get the message, since the knocking stopped. The woman grinned, snuggling in her pillow, ready to fall back to sleep.
Unfortunately, her door was harshly kicked open and very irritated Sesshoumaru stormed inside.
“Get up,” he ordered, stealing the pillow from under her head. The girl moaned in misery, cracking one eye open.
“Why? Is our university falling apart?”
“Worse.” Hearing seriousness in his voice, Kagome sat on her bed, yawning slightly.
“Give me 5 minutes.” The man grimly agreed, leaving the room.

The police officers were everywhere. Shattered glass, toppled tables and strange, white powder spoke about the fight that had place in the laboratory. However, Kagome’s eyes were glued to the figure lying in the middle of the floor.
Beautiful blond hair, dull eyes, lips opened in silent scream and red mark on her throat where she was strangled.
Sesshoumaru looked at the scene with impassive face, only his eyes burning with strange fire.
“She knew who do that,” Kagome murmured. The man nodded.
“He saw her talking with us; he probably panicked and decided to silence her.”
The girl’s eyes once again fell on the body. Only few hours ago, she talked with them. Kagome’s lips tightened.
“He went too far. It’s personal matter now.”
“I agree. It’s a matter of honor.”
“Glad we think the same, now I think we need to collect some evidence.”
Sesshoumaru arched his eyebrow, but before he could ask, the girl took her lip-gloss and dropped it on the floor, just behind the yellow tape. With apologizing smile to the nearest officer, she snatched it back and pulled her companion away.
AN: The murderer strikes again, I think it was his first mistake…
