Summary: It was a hot summer and Ohno read on the internet that by eating spicy food his body would cool down. And the only cure is to kiss Nino?
Nino sat in front of three fans surround him, all of it was on at full blast, one hand holding an uchiwa fan, his other hand on the hem of his shirt lifting it up and down to cool down by fanning himself vigorously. It was a ridiculously hot summer and Nino felt like he was melting with the amount of sweat dripping off him, the AC was broken down and opening the window just meant more hot air blowing in. He already had two cold shower, wore cotton shorts and singlet, sucked on ice till there was no more unless the fridge could somehow miraculously speed up making ice. He even stuck his head in the freezer a few times and while it did provided temporary relief, the heat he felt afterwards was a hundred times worse.
It’s been an hour since he sent Ohno out to buy some ice cream, and the only reason Nino could think of that Ohno was not back yet is probably because Ohno himself has melt on the street as he was walking. He really should get up and find Ohno, but Nino just felt too hot and sticky to move from his current spot.
The door was open and Nino could hear the rustling of bags and shoes being taken off, but he couldn’t even bring himself to get up and greet Ohno or even answer his calls of “tadaima”.
Ohno walked into the living room and chuckled slightly at the sight of his boyfriend sitting in front the three fans they own and fanning himself.
“I got the ice creams you wanted, I bought two tubs of Ben & Jerry, five Haagen Daaz, eight peppermint magnums, and also eight boxes of Pino. Which one do you want first?”
Nino gave a pained moan that sounded something like “Whichever” and Ohno chuckled some more, “Well if you want the ice cream you are going to have to come the kitchen, I’m not going to clean up if your ice cream melts all over the carpet, and I’m certain you aren’t going to be doing enough moving to even clean.”
Ohno stash the ice cream in the freezer, leaving out a box of Pino and counting to ten seconds before he heard reluctant feet standing and dragging themselves into the kitchen. He watch as Nino plonked himself on the counter seat before he plonk the upper half of his body against the cool marble and moan in delight.
“Have I ever thank you for choosing marbled counter top?” Nino said out weakly, his lifeless hands wrestling with trying to open the box of Pino.
Ohno laughed some more, before getting himself a bowl and pouring out the noodles he bought for himself, lickig his lips in anticipation. Nino had already gulf down three pieces of Pino and felt immensely better as the cool ice cream went down his throat, his hand sprawled across the marble table and his head lying right side down as he watch Ohno.
“Is that… is that the death udon we ate on shiyagare?” Nino said as loud as he could while trying not to overwork himself in this heat.
Ohno nodded happily and got himself some chopsticks and proceeded to slurp a mouthful of udon, coughing from the burn and spice he felt.
“It’s hot! It burns!” Ohno yelled out, his mouth wide open. “It’s too spicy!”
“Of course it’s spicy! It’s death udon! Why are you eating it?” Nino asked with a pointed look at Ohno, proceeding to eat the another Pino with a happy moan.
Ohno took a second bite and choked, grabbing the bottle of cold water and chugging it down. It didn’t help much and he started panting like a dog from the spice and fanning his tongue. He stole a piece of Pino from Nino’s box and bite into the icy treat with a happy moan, ignoring Nino’s weak protest.
“Ahh, that feels so good.” Ohno said around the mouthful of Pino that was melting in his mouth and cooling it down.
“Don’t steal my Pino!” Nino said, giving a weak punch with his free hand that only lightly grace Ohno’s shoulder as he was too lazy to really move away from the cooling marble.
“Oh, I am eating it cause I read online somewhere that eating spicy food when you are hot actually cools your body down. Like the sweat that comes out cools your body and your system is trying to cool the spices down I think. I didn’t really understand it.”
Nino rolled his eyes at Ohno but didn’t say anything in reply, opting to slowly eat and savour the last Pino as Ohno continue to eat, or choked and cough, on his death udon, and the exclaiming in pain. Nino felt a lot better, the cool marble and ice cream help heaps, and watching Ohno was really amusing to him so he gave a fond laugh.
“Is it helping Oh-chan?” Nino asked cheekily.
Ohno looked at Nino with tears in his eyes and a slightly snotty nose, sweat pouring down his face, he looked really disgusting, disgustingly cute, Nino thought.
“It hurt’s Nino, my tongue hurts from the chili.” Ohno cried out with a pout, but he still continue eating it.
Nino got up to the freezer and pulled out a peppermint magnum, sitting real close to Ohno as he open it and took a big bite, moaning louder than needed.
“Mmmm, ohh this is so good! Ohchan, won’t you rather have a cooling delicious peppermint ice cream?” Nino said as he sucked on the top of the ice cream and making sounds no one should make when they eat ice cream.
Ohno continue to pout and Nino nearly choked on his ice cream as he noticed how swollen Ohno’s lips has gotten due to the spicy chili.
“Don’t tease me Nino, I only have three more mouthfuls and I’m done.” Ohno said as he stared unhappily at the bowl of udon, dreading reaching the end because he can see all the little chili seeds and spicy stuff collected at the bottom, knowing its going to be super spicy.
“Mmmm, so good, so cooling, ohhh, mmmm” Nino continue to make inappropriate noises as he liked his ice cream.
Suddenly, without any warning, Ohno picked up the bowl of death udon and slurp it all down in one go, he spluttered a bit and started to choke, and cough badly. Nino stuff the last bit ice cream in his mouth and threw the stick away, proceeding to thump on Ohno’s back.
“Are you okay!? Breath oldman!” Nino voice was muffled from the ice cream.
“HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT!” Ohno scrambled for the bottle of water only to realize it was empty, groaning in pain as he threw it behind him.
“It’s too spicy! It’s so painful!” Ohno continue to shout.
“Told you to eat an ice cream instead.” Nino mumbled around his mouthful of ice cream, his face was really close to Ohno’s now.
“Wha-” Nino ask as Ohno was staring so intently at him before grabbing him suddenly and kissing him, his tongue immediately invading inside.
“MMMMPPHHHHH!” Nino protested in shock, eyes blown wide open as Ohno’s kisses him urgently and demandingly, sucking on his tongue and stealing bits of cooling peppermint ice cream away. He held Nino’s face in place as his tongue fully explored every nooks and crannies of Nino’s mouth, tilting his head so he could taste Nino and also the delicious spice saving cooling peppermint ice cream fully.
Nino felt himself melting, not from the heat this time, and he kisses Ohno back eagerly, his tongue dances with Ohno, sharing the ice cream between them, his hand going to play with Ohno’s hair. It didn’t last very long though, as Nino suddenly felt his mouth burning and it took him a second too long to realize that as Ohno’s kisses, and tongue, was coating his mouth with the lingering spices from the death udon.
He tried to pull away, his hands leaving Ohno’s hair to hit Ohno’s chest lightly, his mouth was burning up, and not in the sexy way, he needed water, ice, milk! Just not Ohno’s mouth. Nino finally managed to pull away and he ran to the fridge to grab a bottle of ice water.
“HOT HOT HOT! IT’S SO HOT! DAMN IT SATOSHI!” Nino shouted as he failed to open the bottle in his haste.
Ohno step forward to help Nino, licking his lips happily and popping the bottle open easily, chuckling as Nino snatch it away as soon as it was open and gulp down half its content.
“My mouth isn’t burning anymore, and I feel a lot cooler already. Death Udon does work! And thank you for the peppermint ice cream Kazu-chan!~” Ohno sing song happily as laughed some more as Nino continue to drink the water and shoved Ohno away.
A/N: Yes crack fic again. Also, I really do want to eat that spicy udon one day. I love spicy food, and I also really like peppermind flavoured ice cream. Also I wrote a NinoAi fic awhile ago, but I don't think it's that great (somehow write this pairing is really difficult for me) but if anyone is interested in reading it then I'll post it up too.
