[amv] What have you noticed in the source footage?

For you editors who don't hit a-m-v.org very much, I posted a new thread in General AMV for the first time in... forever. It's asking about things you might have noticed in shows while editing that you might not have noticed while watching. So if you have any examples, please let me know. (there, or here if you prefer, for some reason)

I don't know which particular one-frame instance in Ranma you mean (there are a lot), but there is a general continuity error that was introduced into the show because Shampoo is popular. :) (search the page for "continuity")

Akira is gay. Yes after much aggravation over it I figured out that the whole friggen show is gay.

This is really big in Abenobashi, the most memorable episode utilizing it would be the one where they parody Captain Harlock and the giant robot genre. There are these absurd stray comedy frames all over the place.
