Haven't had the chance to call Erica and tell her yet, let alone anyone else, but I will not be able to go. Unfortunately it is much more important for me to get a car that can 1) start reliably and 2) have heating before winter hits. I've been trying to think my way around it and the only solution I can come up with is if I can convince someone to loan me a bunch of money. I'm not holding my breath.
Which sucks because I really wanted to go and see everybody. Maybe after taxes next year I can make plans to hit the west coast.
Yes, I am taking at least Monday & Tuesday off post-con. Billy & Lisa (my English friends) will be here too as they're taking time to be tourists in Seattle and you know, more time since they're flying across the globe.
The hotel info's on the website too; it's best to book out at least 1 month pre-con, so early September. I'm actually actually staying (during the con) at the cheaper hotel because you know, I have to be there at 6am on Saturday.
