This is the weirdest and nearly the most fucked-up thing that has ever happened to me.

I really wish this was a joke, but it's not. I don't know much more than you can read in that report. I am utterly at a loss for what to say. I really don't think I can take any more speculation about their health, about insurance, about finances, about anything. It is only in about the past hour that the weirdness and fucked-up-edness of this all penetrated and it became clear to me the important part, which is that my Grammy is almost certainly dead.
I will probably tell you all more about this as I learn it, unless it is awful. More awful than it already is, I mean. Please, though, for the moment and forgoing future, forgive my absence.
