I'm not a fan of the OP, either. But I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

I forgot to mention the censorship; the first monster was chopped in half in the manga and there were bloody spurts. The blood is a a bit of a reminder of the classic version, where it looks like a stitched bruise.

They need to risk being rough because there is plenty of death and evilness.

I do like what I'm seeing so far, but yeah not a fan of the opening.
