1. When Joe shows up at David's trailer walking gingerly and looking a little chagrined, David just rolls his eyes and holds the door open. And when Joe lowers himself into a chair with a pretty pathetic groan, David hands him an ice pack and a couple of ibuprofen and doesn't say anything about Peter Pan complexes or taking up hobbies that are less stressful on 40-year-old knees.

2. Torri's on the warpath, because someone has lifted her Cadbury Premium Dark bar again, and everyone knows she keeps one stashed away as a treat for herself on tough days, and yes she could go out and get another one, but it's the principle of the thing. David meets Joe's eyes over Torri's shoulder and shrugs consolingly at her. It's easy to look innocent when you are
