I'm very much in the minority, but I've always thought that February is a nice month. Then again, I've never much minded the cold, and Saint Valentine's Day is always such a cheery celebration. Which reminds me: Rosemariné, I imagine you'll be wanting to stay in together on the evening of the fourteenth? If you pick up some wine at Hogsmeade next ( Read more... )

I love Valentines Day!

You're spending it with Mr. Rosemarine?

I'm glad! It seems like many people don't appreciate it.

Yes, I am. We haven't been able to be together on Valentines Day since before he left for Hogwarts, so I'm looking forward to it.

I must agree, Valentine's Day is quite the pleasant holiday. And I have signed myself up for the blind dates. It seemed only fair to give some luckily girl a date with myself.

I'm glad to hear that someone agrees.

I'm expecting the blind dates to be enjoyable, albeit not particularly helpful. Although I don't believe they mentioned whether gender is being taken into consideration?

Enjoyable but not helpful is just how dates should be! Anything too serious is... Well, too serious.

...I should hope it will be.

You certainly sound like you know what you're talking about.

What, you wouldn't be willing to give some lucky man a date with yourself, as you phrased it?

All right.

...You're actually going to let me drink?

How do brownies sound?

Why not? It's a holiday, and with such a romantic connotation I imagine you'd be drinking regardless. This way, I can monitor you.

I hope you know alcohol isn't allowed for students on the grounds. Rosemariné, you of all people should know better.

Five points off for each of you, for shamelessly admitting you've brought wine onto school grounds, and for breaking the rules while knowing full well you're not allowed to do so as a Prefect.

If I could take off for stupidity, I would. At least next time, keep it fair private.

I'm sorry, Miss Sarrasri, I was unaware. I must read the rules more closely, it seems.

Although in our defence, I don't have any alcohol here yet.

I agree with you about February. Those first days of spring can be quite lovely.

I suspect that someone may have signed me up for the blind dates. If so, I don't really mind. It might be fun
