[It isn't that she woke up in an unfamiliar forest that throws Rose for a loop. She had been traveling back to the Homelands, along with just about every other Fable who had been in the mundy world. Haven was supposed to have a huge, magical grove along its borders, so forests were to be expected. No, it was the fact that she woke up, when she

Or maybe she was before that happened? Seemed to happen with some people.
Well, he's Jack. She'll be happy to see him either way.]
Hey there, Rosebush. Sounds like you're looking for me.

Rose groans, and fumbling a bit with the book, makes a reply.]
Well, I wasn't until now. Did you follow us or am I still in New York somewhere?
Reply
Nope. We both got dropped in another world. The hard to escape from kind, too. [Nice thing about being a Fable? The idea of being in some new world like this isn't all that odd.]
Reply
Worse still is hearing Jack call it the sort of world that's hard to escape from.]
Seriously? Oh great. So, we're not in New York or Haven. Are the others here or is it just us?
Reply
[Kind of like a Fabletown Adam and Eve! Except there's plenty of other people.]
Reply
Well that's something, at least. So where are you? I'm out here in the rain and I need to get a change of clothes and something to cover up my back.
[Rose is not going to freak out any mundies by walking around with a pair of wings on her back, thank you very much.]

See anything landmark-y out there? [He's got an umbrella, a warm blanket, and a tarp. Should be just what she needs.]

[She starts to look around for landmarks. Rose can't really see much beyond the trees...
...there's...some sort of building off in the distance. Though she doesn't know that it's the barracks.]
I think I see a building not far off. I'll see if I can pinpoint it once I get closer.

[He's already fetched his stuff to start waiting by the exit for her call. So he says nothing until she's close enough to describe it.]

[Rose can handle weird but some of this stuff is a little too brain-breaky for her liking.
It's been a while since Rose walked barefoot in the forest, but there are some things that she just never really lost the hang of. It doesn't take Rose too long before she arrives at a sign post. One direction points to the Barracks, the other to Building 5.]
Looks like I'm somewhere near the barracks. Sound familiar to you?
Reply
You hang tight there, babe, get some shelter. I'll be there before long.

[Rose doesn't move far from the sign post, but rather finds a tree with particularly dense branches and stands beneath it. Tucking the book between her knees, she reaches up to try and squeeze some of the water from her hair and dress.
Her only consolation is that at least she wasn't laying in mud initially.]

Even soaking wet, you look fine. [Here, have a blanket while he reflects on his luck that Rose isn't that horrible mess of a creature he left on the Farm.]
Reply
She takes his compliment in stride, giving his wings a once-over as she takes the blanket and wraps it around herself.]
Thanks...here I thought the wings were going to have to stay under wraps. What the hell did we land in?
Reply
[At least he doesn't have a lame color for his wings. Still, he's a little too happy about having her around. Being around all these 'young' people has been interesting, but having another Fable around? It's nice. Especially someone who knows just how amazing he is.]
So what's the last thing you remember?
Reply
[He has to understand why she's so shocked by this. Such a waste of magical resources, and to what purpose?]
I was just in the middle of heading to Haven. Fabletown was destroyed and the Farm wasn't safe anymore. Ambrose was taking us all in but...somehow I ended up here instead.
