If nothing else, it's going on my Netflix queue!

BTW, did you catch the first ep of Hell on Wheels?

There was an awesome 48 hours special recently on the real guys and the real case. Horrifying stuff.

And yes, I did watch Hell ... and was tragically disappointed. Was hoping for something in at least the same ballpark of quality as Deadwood, but the writing (particularly the dialog) and acting was SO flat and uninspired. It wouldn't have kept me for a second episode even if I'd never seen Deadwood. Made me very, very sad ... gonna kill the Western genre all over again if this is all they can come up with to show under that banner. :(

According to Moviefone, it's playing in Tyler, Lufkin, and Abilene, Texas.

Which...wow. Major markets, right there.

Poster's nice, though.

Because it would only be of regional interest. *headdesk* Almost enough to make me go visit my brother for a day.

Almost.

oooo! Looks tasty! Of course, it won't even be on the big screen at all, in Oz! *Grumble*

Where they've put it on the big screen here doesn't qualify as it being on the big screen, either, so don't feel too left out.

Hollywood pretty much sucks. But then - theatres do, too. The little one here - if it's not uber-popular-mainstream movie? It will *never* be shown here. I've watched more movies on my computer than in a theatre in *years*.

This movie looks *so* good and creepy.

It does, doesn't it? My computer is so slow I rarely watch movies on it ... usually catch em on netflix if they don't get released in the theatre.

I know, right? It's kind of an embarrassment of riches. And then they don't RELEASE it? Who the hell made THAT decision has to be my question. Hell, I'd pay to watch the 2 of them read the phone book together.
