Deadwood is Justified

May 04, 2010 09:20

After Ray McKinnon's (Rev. Smith) guest appearance on Justified last week, and Peter Jason's (Con Stapleton) the week before, the long awaited arrival my main man Earl Brown (Dan Dority) is set to happen tonight. FX 8PM CST Justified. Check it out!

Yay for Justified! And, okay, I'm so excited about every episode it would actually be embarrassing, *if* I had any sense of shame about these things (and I don't, LOL). :)

I'm ridiculously excited, too. And Earl did awesome ... as, of course, we all knew he would, eh? :D

Gah! *is really fucking excited!* ^__^ When Con showed up a couple weeks ago, I wondered out loud to my husband whether Justified has the same casting director as Deadwood, because Harry Manning had been on there the week before! We still have last week's episode waiting on the DVR (yes, we have some serious catching up to do, I know!) :-) I love Ray McKinnon so I can't wait to see him on the show. And of course, I am thrilled to once again see Earl Brown on my TV. Thanks for the heads up!

I knew Earl was going to be on. Him being a Kentucky boy by birth, that was the first thing I asked after the premiere aired. And he'd already filmed his episode by then, so I've been waiting for it to show up like a kid waiting for Santa Clause. Ray caught me off guard though. Didn't realize he was going to guest. But Brent (Manning) was in his episode, too. Thought it was a bit odd that, with as much shared screen time as Ray and Tim had in DW, they didn't share a single scene in Justified. Near all Earl's scenes are one-on-one off Tim though, and they are CLEARLY having a blast. And Earl's a flat-out hoot. (Fred Lehane's in the ep, too). Now if Titus and Jim can just roll on through Kentucky, I'd consider it a full house of happy. :D
