Where do you find all these geeks? I need more geeks in my life, all my colleagues and classmates are way too normal. :p

My brother and his family left on the 23rd, so I spent the week following that sleeping and playing my new video game they got me for my birthday. It was a great visit - much less stressful now that the kids are getting older but I was happy to have my house back.

Thank you! My sister already loves her job and she has only been there a week and a half.

Where do you find all these geeks?

I think it is just because I wave my geek-flag everywhere I go. Like most people would just talk at physical therapy about the weather and their plans for the weekend or whatever - I talk about my shows and my stories. So for every ten people I talk to - nine of them just laugh and raise their eyebrows at me and one of them goes, "OMG! You like SPN/X-Men/Avengers/Hunger Games too?!" Just wave your flag, baby, and the geeks will find you. Of course, everyone else will think you are nuts but.../shrugs/

I think I'm already there, so no worries. My aunt actually asked me, while I was watching Fantastic 4 way back, if I thought the world really was like that. I wonder how crazy she thinks I am... *eyeroll*

Thank you! My sister loves her new job and they are already giving her projects to do. And we are super psyched about the new baby - I just have to be patient and wait for January when my sis-in-law is due!
