Dude, omg, okay...

Sat down this afternoon to make this post and saw the comment from you in my inbox from earlier and was all SQUEE WITH DELIGHT but then I had to shower. So then I sat back down after dinner to finish this post and I saw your entry and I made this noise of jubilation and my sister was in the room and she was all, "What? What is going on?!" and I was all, "Shane/Rick fic and it's totally my fault! YES!"

I am so excited.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! :D

I managed to get out of all family obligations this year (we'll be making up for it at Christmas, I am sure) The Boy and I are in the same boat. It was nice not to have to do much for the holiday, but I'm sure I'm gonna be made to feel guilty for it by some one. Oh well, can't win with family.

I got dressed and put on a nice shirt/jeans and then my sister and I watched Friends and Buffy and ate our dinners from Bob Evans.

Best. Thanksgiving. Ever.

My mom totally tried to make us feel guilty about it, but I was like, "Nope. With the last two months I have had, I don't care. I'll see you all at Christmas."

Hope your Thanksgiving with The Boy was also relaxing and awesome.

The stuffing is like the best part! I just finished the leftovers (we did it with a chicken since turkeys are almost impossible to find here) and they were yummy! :D

Why do you use this as a subject if you don't have compassion for the murder victim? Do you think it's harder for you to not have murdered bird on thanksgiving or is it harder for the turkey to be in such horrendous conditions and to be murdered at a fraction of their lifespan?
