So today is my cousin/honorary nephew’s - you know him as Boy Cousin - 18th birthday. Which makes me feel very old. I remember when he was a baby, he would go to his grandmother’s daycare. I would come over and help with lunch and then, while everyone took a nap, including his grandmother, I would feed him his lunch. I’d put him up in the highchair

And it’s not just the big stuff that changes you, it can be the little things too. So while you’re out there in the world looking for that one big event that’s going to change you, shape you, turn you into the man you’re supposed to be? Don’t forget to look for the little things too.

Such a sweet post. I always find it amazing when adults I've known as babies suddenly seem to have grown up when I wasn't looking. That's a cute story about his reaction to the music in "Jaws."
