HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERBODY! IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR! So, I ended up dropping my X-Files Halloween fic I was working on. It was coming along good, I was happy with it, but it was a case-fic, so very plot-orientated and I have been way too sick for that much brain power. I knew I wasn’t going to get it done in time. Hopefully I

Thanks! After Halloween, the girls went back to Target and picked through the half-off stuff and got three pairs of light up glowing eyes for the front bushes. Next year I should take a page out of your book and do my makeup earlier in the day and then go out to a coffee shop or something and see what reactions I get.

LOL Thanks, babe! The one on the left actually makes me think of the vampire in the opening credits of the original Scooby-Doo. Do you remember him? Evil Yoda is actually a cool idea for a costume!

If you mention it to the Nephew, he might do Evil!Yoda.

The Nephew actually dressed as Luke this year and insisted that The Niece dress as Leia! Next year hopefully we can get him to do something vampire-related, which is what we're doing, since the plan is hopefully for them to come trick-or-treat in our neighborhood and then leave him to spend the night- since Halloween is on a Friday next year.

Happy Halloween, my dear! I live in a condo complex with a locked gate and no children in residence, so my Halloweens for the past few years have been quiet ones. I am living vicariously through y'all. Scare some children for me.
I did indeed scare some children for you. I love when the kids get all the way up to the door and then they see me lurking just inside and start freaking out because my makeup is so scary! Or the year we were Reapers and we held perfectly still at the front window until they would get halfway up the walk and then we would turn our heads real slow and look at them!
Babe, you gotta hook up with a friend who lives in a neighborhood for Halloween, so you can get in on the Trick Or Treat action (costume watching is half the fun!). My cousin always finds a relative or friend that she can latch onto for Halloween and hand out candy with, because she can't do it at her house - her dogs freak out every time the doorbell rings!

Thank you! I keep telling my sister she has some serious crafting skills, but Halloween always brings it out in her!
