So the regular TV season has come to a close and the summer season is about to start. I thought now might be a good time to take stock. Southland was canceled. Go On was canceled - (I was shocked by this). Wedding Band was canceled - (less shocked but damn glad I saved my fav eps). NCIS: Red was apparently not picked up - (but I need Scotty

Those are both big staples around our house, but Animal Hoarding hasn't aired a new episode in forever, even though it is still listed as one of their shows. And Hoarders still hasn't been picked up for another season, so Idk what will happen there. Between those and Teen Mom going off, What Not To Wear finishing its run this summer and Storage losing cast members so that it was unbearable to watch - our reality TV around here is getting slim.
I like Top Chef as well, but I don't watch it regularly. A friend turned me on to it about a year ago and every time she is here, we watch it and then I find that I have to know who gets eliminated next.

What's King & Maxwell? I've never even heard of that.
Edit: Never mind on the King & Maxwell question - the person who commented right after you also recced this and explained it as a male + female cop drama the likes of Moonlighting or Remington Steele (both shows I really liked in my younger days).

The following is only new stuff I'll be watching.
I might try King & Maxwell on TNT because it co-stars Jon Tenney, who I used to love on The Closer. He plays one half of a male/female P.I. team, which sounds like a kind of Moonlighting/Remington Steele/Scarecrow and Mrs. King type show.
The Bridge, on FX, about a body found on the border of Mexico and the US. FX has a excellent drama history so I'll bet this will be good.
Broadchurch, BBC America, the eight-episode UK series that already aired over there starring David Tennant as a detective investigating the death of a young boy.
Low Winter Sun on AMC about a rogue cop. AMC also has a habit of picking their dramas well.
And starting next Thursday, another UK import on BBC America, In The Flesh, a three-part miniseries about a teenager who kills himself and then is brought back as a zombie. TV Guide said it was worth a watch, so I'll give it a try.

I really want to watch this! The summer write up I read said it wasn't airing until August! Thanks for the heads up because I would have been pissed if I had missed it. I am a little wary about it since I just finished reading Warm Bodies and it sounds like a bit of a rip off of that, but then again, I can never have too many zombies in my life and also everything I have seen on it looks really good. So I'm definitely going to check it out.
