Oh. My. God.

This was fucking scary as hell, but also some amazing fun. My hat's off to you, babe. I loved it. (I just hope I don't dream it later on.)

Also, in your head, does Pepper know the Winchesters, or is she just that awesome at researching shit? :D

You know, with all those years Bruce spent on the road, HE might know the boys. And considering Tony's drinking and womanizing habits, HE might know the boys!!!

Obviously, you should write some or all of these.

She is just that badass at researching shit! I had Pepper leave the house the next day, not just so Darcy & Bruce could be alone, but because I imagined Pepper was off at the library researching how to get rid of a ghost and maybe making a few phone calls to various contacts that she must have. (I did think an embarrassing lot about this, whether Pepper was a hunter or just that awesome of a researcher). But maybe she called Coulson and he helped, because I could see Coulson knowing some hunters too.

I don't know why but my head just screamed, "No, no, Tony knows Rufus!" Huh.

DUDE. Of course Tony would know Rufus!

Mua ha haaaaaa, yes, you need another idea from me to write, since you finished this one (which I just randomly decided is what it takes, and since science-bros teen!vengers is still being written, but you finished this... yeah.)

Scary as hell and if I have nightmares, I WILL TELL YOU AND YELL AT THIS STORY! (I can't stand horror movies...)

Speaking of horror, have you ever heard of Uzumaki (manga) and Slender Man? It's on a different fandom spectrum compared to the Avengers, but this is as far as I've heard about horror. Did you get inspiration from The Shining /knows nothing about horro

ahahahaha OMG. That reaction made me so happy. Thank you! I wouldn't blame you if this fic gave you nightmares - I had several of them myself while writing it.

Really? I am flattered that you braved it enough to read this fic then!

I don't know Uzumaki but I do know Slender Man. Several people on my Flist are fans of MarbleHornets and EverymanHybrid and one person was doing a whole role playing writer's thread this Halloween about Slender Man.

Did you get inspiration from The ShiningNot the Shining persay, but I am definitely influenced by Stephen King as a whole - I have been reading him since the fourth grade. He's my primary horror-author that I read. Also I have been watching this reality-reenactment show on SyFy called Paranormal Witness and it is scary as hell - like I am afraid to get up and go to the bathroom when it is over ( ... )

Yayyy you posted it! Well done, my dear.

I forgot to tell you, when you mentioned the Winchester Mystery House...I was actually there. Went on the tour and everything. The weirdest thing is that it's in the middle of a busy section of town, and right across the street from this beautiful gated mansion is a shitty strip mall, I kid you not. Also! The all the stairs in the place were only about 5-6 inches high, because Mrs. Winchester had trouble walking.

Thank you, babe! This fic just became a whole big thing and outside of my usual box, so the help was appreciated.

The BFF called me as soon as she finished reading this story and told me that she thinks it is the best my writing has ever been. I was beyond floored, obvs. After writing my whole life (since age 6) and after ten years of serious fanfic writing, it is nice to know that I can still grow like that.

Dude. That's AWESOME. Once my sister and I made a list of places we wanted to go if we made it out to the west coast and the Mystery House was on the list. I knew she had a ton of stairs in her house but I didn't know the steps were all 5 inches high. Or that it was across from a strip mall (how bizarre!). Do you have pictures? Some day you'll have to show me pictures.
